We are a family of 5 living in beautiful Morocco. Dominic has a job working in real estate here a long the Mediterranean Sea! It is an amazing opportunity that we get to live in such a beautiful and unique place. The boys had a hard time adjusting at first, but now they seem to be doing well and are learning the languages little by little (Spanish & Arabic). We are excited to give our boys such a rich experience and open their eyes to the rest of the world. Hopefully, someday they will be multilingual. We want them to learn to follow their dreams no matter what and follow what God puts on your heart to do. Hopefully, by our example they will learn this! We have so much peace in our home since our move here. We definitely feel that we are exactly where He wants us for this season of our lives. It is a great place to be!
Dom is taking classes at his office to study the language and has done really well learning so far. As for me, I am adjusting and learning the language very slowly. In the fall I plan on taking some classes while the boys are in school.
Slowly we are getting more involved in the community we are around. For now, and this next year, our focus is to learn the language, help the boys to adjust, and begin to build some friendships along the way! This journey has been fun so far. However, it is hard missing our friends and family. Hopefully we will be able to stay more connected now that we have the internet and are setting up this site.

Hi Sybil!
Oh my gosh your boys are so grown! They are all beautiful. The Logans were just here in L.A. and forwarded your website info. Wow, I can’t believe you guys did it. It’s so awesome that you guys made that move out of the country. For now, I will live vicarously through you guys. Tell Dom I said hello. You seem to be adjusting just fine. It’s so great that your kids will be multilingual! What are the spices like there? Oh my gosh, I can imagine! We’d love to bring the kids over and visit, but that’s not happening anytime soon.
Everything is fine in L.A., next year I will finally have all kids at one school. Marlei starts Kindergarten, Ian – 2nd grade, Mykah 4th grade. I am so glad all is well on the other side of the world!
God Bless you guys

Sybil—-I devoured your blog, entry by entry. I’m so proud of you! I love my friends, but there’s very few who can relate to jumping off cliffs in faith that the Father will catch you. So it’s nice to have another cliff-jumper around. You and your family will definitely occupy my prayers.
